RLS Territoriale

The Territorial Workers’ Safety Representative (RLST), as provided for in Article 47, paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree No. 81/2008, performs the duties of the Workers’ Safety Representative (RLS) with regard to all companies or production units within the relevant territory or sector in which no Workers’ Safety Representative has been elected or appointed. Regardless of the company’s size, where the elections provided for under Article 47, paragraphs 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree No. 81/2008 are not held, the functions of the Workers’ Safety Representative shall be performed by the representatives referred to in Articles 48 and 49 of Legislative Decree No. 81/2008. The RLST directly represents workers in dealings with the company on matters concerning health and safety in the workplace. Its role is to help ensure effective risk prevention in accordance with Article 48 of Legislative Decree No. 81/2008.
